This is my lame attempt to write like Shakespeare for a Romeo/Juliet poem we had to do.. x.X I ended up using it as a prologue for a story of mine, and the actual title of the poem is stupid sooo...
hence why it's simply titled 'Prologue'.
---
O my love! Where hath thou flown to? With white wings spread wide, And streaming tail feathers over yonder, Thou hast pulled a slip on me!
I search for thee, But thou art not found. Despair I do, praying to the stars O Celestial Bodies, help me find my love!
A-twinkle, a-twinkle! Mayst that be she? A flitting shadow on the skies, O! Hidden is she that I love!
Traveling on thy wings, Why dost thou hesitate? Indeed, our love is young and fresh, Yet I can assure you, Tis as deep As the long-faring marriage between Sky and Earth.
Nay fear, nay fear, I shalt stand by thee. Through sickness and health, Bad tidings and good, Till Death do us part.
